All About the Knox Farm

There’s nothing better than taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spending some quality time in nature. At Knox Pumpkin Farm, located in a quiet corner just east of Toronto in beautiful Clarington, you can spend the day picking your own produce or roaming through the fields while sampling our delicious homemade goods.

We're proud of our heritage.  Since 1832, the Knox family has been farming in Durham Region, and we have been welcoming visitors to the pumpkin patch for over forty years.  With over 300 acres of crops, pasture and forest, the farm is helping feed cities while educating the community about agriculture.

The farm house was built in 1887 to replace the log cabin which originally stood just south of it...built for Jordan & Edith Van Nest, their ten children were the first of many since to slide down the banister and play in the 'big room' with its seven doors.  Today four generations of Knox decendants come 'home' for the harvest every year to be your hosts for the season.

Come on out for a visit -- we hope to see you time and time again!
