Well-being of Guests and Farmers

It is not business as usual at the farm this year. Many measures have been added to align with public health guidelines as outlined by the Government of Canada, Province of Ontario and Region of Durham.

These include mandatory masks/face coverings at all times; promoting physical distancing by re-designing several access points and establishing timed visits; additional hand sanitizing stations; cleaning and sanitation of high-touch areas through a maintained schedule; contactless payment options; one-directional flow in key areas; and mandatory self-screening checklist.

The health of our farm family is being carefully assessed daily, hand washing and sanitizing is occurring on a scheduled basis, and both masks and face shields are being worn as appropriate throughout the season. We thank you kindly for your patience and understanding as we continue updating the above as required.

On-Farm Etiquette for Visitors to the Farm Market in 2020

We appreciate your attention to the following guidelines to help stop the spread of COVID-19:

- Mandatory use of face masks/coverings at all times on the farm - Social distancing of 2m/6 feet unless part of a family unit - Stay home if you are feeling unwell or have recently traveled, or live in a grey zone - Wash hands prior to your arrival and use sanitizer regularly while at the farm - Touch only the produce that you intend to purchase - Follow directional markers and respect posted signage - Shorten your visit to assist with physical distancing - A limited number of tickets available to allow for physical distancing - The farm is located in Durham Region and is currently in 'Zone Red' Control.

Please ensure that you and your group do everything you can to keep fellow guests and our farm family safe...we are all in this together!
